Reaching out to area youth, creating confidence and inspiring success, La Voz Latina promotes a higher graduation rate among area Hispanic students through year-round programming:

• After-school tutoring and mentoring
• Intensive summer program for Hispanic teens
• Parent meetings and seminars
• Scholarship Program
• Leadership Institutes

Students who attend our after-school and summer tutorial programs receive tutoring, leadership training, and counseling. Teens participate in a job-training program that emphasizes bilingual careers in business, government, tourism and human services. Partnerships with the School District, the Arts Council, the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, and the Park District help enrich our programming. Parent meetings emphasize lifelong learning.La Voz Latina also offers a scholarship program to Hispanic high school seniors and GED graduates pursuing higher education.
