• Parenting classes in Spanish
• Home visits and referral services for Latinos with disabilities
• Parent/child literacy classes

La Voz Latina, in collaboration with local physicians, the Health Dept. and DCFS developed the first bilingual parenting skills course, reaching 100's of families in the area. Today, La Voz Latina provides the only bilingual prenatal and parenting classes available in the Rockford/Belvidere area, teaching the importance of prenatal care and positive parenting skills. La Voz Latina also participates in a statewide program for Hispanic youth with disabilities, reaching those that might otherwise be forgotten.
